'My wife and I chose Pollokshields Burgh Hall as the venue for our wedding ceremony. It is a stunning building with multiple rooms of many sizes. For our wedding of around 100 people, we made use of Maxwell Hall for the ceremony, dancing, and dinner; and Stirling Hall for the bar and buffet (“The Bar” room was under construction at the time). The building, its rooms and the hallway are spacious and warm. The natural rich wood decor fit us so well that minimal self-decoration was required. Look carefully for the unique stained glass in Maxwell Hall showing its masonic history! The staff at Pollokshields Burgh Hall were friendly and professional, making sure our day was a success and went beyond the call of duty for some of our guests that needed extra assistance.
I highly recommend making use of their luxury apartment located less than 10 seconds walk from the hall itself. There’s nothing like falling into bed (or bath, if you will) after a long and exciting wedding day.
A big thank you to all the staff at the hall!'
