Friends Connect

Friends Connect is a new project for young people (16+) and adults with Down’s syndrome. It’s for people who don’t get out and about much. The project is about making new friends and getting help to meet up with each other. It also about finding out what things go on in their local area. The project involves volunteers to help arrange friends meet ups on a regular basis. Once every 6 weeks we all then meet together to see how things are going and to make future plans about meet ups. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in either volunteering or becoming a member of the project, please contact Down’s Syndrome Scotland on 0131 313 4225 or Brenda@dsscotland.org.uk for more information.
