"Mindfulness meditation has been shown to relieve stress, pain and anxiety and is a tool which can be used by everybody in their everyday life. Over the course of the 8 weeks you will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with different meditation techniques, consider what mindfulness is and how you can use it to help simplify your life."

The sessions are practical, informative and informal and there is no pressure for people to contribute to discussions or ask questions, it's entirely up to the individual. There is suggested home practice each week (between 5-20 mins a day); it's not homework so there is no pressure there either, it does however help your process if you can complete it occasionally!
