The Trust

The Trust  was formed in 1986 and currently consists of 9 Trustees, including two of our local elected councillors. It is a mixture of men and women who have a connection to Pollokshields and who have a professional background and training which assists in running the Trust. The Trust meets regularly and is guided in its work by Chairman Mr Jack Steele. Jack has been Chairman of the Trust since its formation and is very knowledgeable about the history of our treasured A listed building.

Currently the Trust staff group comprises a CEO, Assistant Operations Manager, Several Duty Officers and Cleaner. All charity staff are part time and work flexible hours. We are also serviced by a team of local tradesman who help us keep our building operational, looking good and functioning as an integral part of the life of our community.
